CBG Lotion: What Is It, And When Should You Use It?

CBG is the hottest new cannabinoid. It has been present all along in hemp products, and if you were buying full-spectrum CBD products, there is a good chance you were getting some CBG in them. What is CBG?

The initials CBG stand for cannabigerol. CBG is not present in hemp in as large of quantities as CBD, but there are some strains that contain more CBG than average. Like CBD, CBG is non-psychoactive. In other words, it will not make you feel high like THC would. However, CBG does have some mild mental effects. Most people find it to be energizing in a manner similar to small doses of caffeine. It also shares a lot of benefits with CBD, such as helping to alleviate inflammation and relieve pain.
